Golf Course
Maccauvlei Golf Club was established in 1926. The original architect was George Peck. The finishing touches were credited to Major S.V.Hotchkin in 1929, one of an illustrious trinity of British course designers, who was responsible for Humewood in Port Elizabeth.
Golf Club
The Clubhouse and Dormy House were completed in late 1925, and were officially opened by Mr John Munro. The Clubhouse consisted of a dining room/lounge, with a ladies’ dressing room on the one side, and a small kitchen, bar and men’s toilet on the other side. In the front, a large open veranda faced the 18th green.

Facilities Available
Players arriving at Maccauvlei are introduced to a country setting with the old traditional club house offering first class facilities in the halfway house, the bar and change rooms.

Membership
